We're ENTWURFREICH, an independent industrial design and UX/UI partner to the ambitious leaders who build tomorrow's product experiences today.

Under the leadership of founder Simon Gorski and Creative Director Matthias Menzel, an interdisciplinary team of industrial designers, UX experts, and design strategists works together — trained at design schools in Germany, Sweden, and Australia.

Over more than 14 years, ENTWURFREICH has delivered 350+ projects for 125+ clients, including ABB, Vodafone, Henkel, Schüco, Coca-Cola, Fujifilm, Covestro, Fraunhofer, Busch-Jaeger, Novopress, and Ulrich Medical. Our work has been repeatedly recognized — with the German Design Award Gold 2026, the iF Design Award Gold 2024, and the Red Dot Award: Best of the Best 2024.

ENTWURFREICH is led by founder Simon Gorski and Creative Director Matthias Menzel. Both are authors of our blog and shape the studio's creative and strategic direction.

Simon Gorski

Founder & CEO

Simon Gorski founded ENTWURFREICH in 2012 in Düsseldorf and has led the studio's strategic direction and expansion ever since. Holding a Diploma in Design from the University of Wuppertal, he combines design thinking with an entrepreneurial mindset and advises clients on product strategy at the executive level. Past lectureships took him to the University of Wuppertal and Hochschule Fresenius in Cologne. He is a member of the VDID (German Industrial Designers Association) and the Entrepreneurs Organization.

Matthias Menzel

Creative Director

Matthias Menzel is Creative Director at ENTWURFREICH, responsible for the design quality of every project. Trained at the renowned Umeå Institute of Design (Sweden), he brings an international design perspective to the studio — visible in award-winning work recognized by Red Dot: Best of the Best, iF Gold, and German Design Award Gold. Working in German, English, and Polish, he previously taught at the msa | münster school of architecture and is the author of the zoom:in trend report series covering the most important international design fairs.

Designing products that impact markets — since 2012

ENTWURFREICH started in 2012 in Düsseldorf with one conviction: industrial design shouldn't just be styling. The studio was built to bring strategy, design, engineering, and storytelling under one roof — from first sketch to series production — guided by a user-centric design approach for clients who treat design as a business decision, not decoration.

The first major project — a Coca-Cola crate — won the Coca-Cola Design+ Award in 2012 and put the studio on the map. Over the next decade, ENTWURFREICH grew alongside long-term partners like ABB and Busch-Jaeger, and added UX/UI expertise to handle digital and physical interfaces.

Today, 14 years later, ENTWURFREICH is an interdisciplinary team of industrial designers, UX experts, and design strategists with a track record of 350+ products for 125+ clients across medical, industrial, smart-home, and consumer markets. The question we started with still drives every project: how do we create products people don't just use, but truly love?

Our studio in Düsseldorf

Our studio is located at Fleher Str. 32, 40223 Düsseldorf — just minutes from the Media Harbour and Central Station. Sketches, 3D models, prototypes, and digital interfaces are created here.

We work in hybrid mode: deep on-site workshops combined with continuous digital alignment. Clients from across Germany, Europe, and overseas visit us regularly for design sprints and concept reviews.
